Living with Diabetes in Korea: A 55-Year-Old Insurance Planner's Real Story

Welcome to my blog about living with diabetes in Korea, where I share my personal journey of health management and financial planning.

Hello, world!

I am a 55-year-old man living in South Korea (born in 1971). By profession, I am an insurance planner at Lotte General Insurance, analyzing risks and helping people prepare for the future. But personally, I am fighting my own battle every day—against diabetes.

Why did I start this blog in English?

Many people around the world are interested in "K-Food" or "K-Culture." But I want to show you something more real. I want to share how a middle-aged Korean man actually eats, exercises, and manages his blood sugar levels in a country known for its spicy and salty food.

On this blog, I will honestly share:

* My Real K-Diet: What I actually eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner to keep my diabetes in check. (It's not just Kimchi!)

* Korean Insurance & Health: Insights into Korea's medical system and insurance tips from a pro planner's perspective.

* Daily Life: My stories as a father of a daughter (born in 2007) and a husband.

I am not a doctor. But I am an expert at living my life passionately despite diabetes.

If you are interested in a healthy Korean lifestyle or want to know the real Korea, please follow my blog. Let’s stay healthy together!

Best regards,

Mr. Kim (Your Korean Friend)
